The Foundation Clinic is specifically designed for starting young horses or restarting troubled horses. It's a special opportunity to have Greg lay the foundation for you -- getting to the root of any problems, or simply taking your horse to a higher level of refinement by creating a new means of communicating from feel. We are working toward getting the horse mentally right so it can be physically right. Greg will restart and ride each horse the entire five days. Greg will build a foundation from feel, without force, fear, and gimmicks. The end result will be a secure, confident, willing partner. Once this new foundation is built and a new means of communication has been created, it is crucial for the rider/trainer to educate themselves with the understanding and skills to complement the foundation Greg had laid in place. This can be done by following up with the four-day Groundwork/Horsemanship Clinic. The Owner/trainer must be present while Greg is working the horse. All problems are fixable, if you have the ability to understand how to approach the horse from its point of view. Starts at 9 a.m., Saturday through Wednesday. Cost is $600. Spectators are welcome ($25 per day).
